LEGAL ABORTION AS A SOCIAL FACT

Abstract

This article aims to analyze through doctrinal thoughts, research, and statistical data on abortion in Brazil and in the World. It also brings a historical breviary, the reflexes and consequences that this act produces in society, discussing the diversity of ways of analyzing abortion through a view of methods used, sociological, justice, politics, sociopolitical movements, science and of psychology.
