Abstract

This study proposes the development and application of a hydraulic device aimed at the paper packaging industry, focusing on the optimization of production processes related to the assembly of reels on the shafts of formatting machines. The objectives of this work encompass identifying recurring inefficiencies in traditional industry processes and proposing operational improvements through a hydraulic solution. It aims to reduce setup time, standardize operations, and minimize ergonomic risks, thereby ensuring greater safety and operational efficiency. As a methodology, a descriptive and propositional approach was adopted, supported by qualitative analyses and quantitative simulations. Projected results demonstrate that standardizing the sector with this device tends to significantly reduce setup time, increasing production efficiency and operational safety. It is concluded that the proposed actions are feasible, effective, and generate highly satisfactory and scalable results for industries in this field.
