SCIENTIFIC LITERACY IN ASTRONOMY EDUCATION: AN ANALYSIS OF THE PRODUCTIONS OF THE ENPEC AND SNEF EVENTS (2015–2023)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the presence and relationships between Scientific Literacy and the teaching of Astronomy in works published in the proceedings of ENPEC and SNEF, from 2015 to 2023. This is a qualitative, bibliographical research, based on the mapping of productions from the reading of titles, abstracts and keywords. 326 works were identified, of which 10 comprised the corpus because they presented a direct articulation between the themes. The results indicate the predominance of studies that address Scientific Literacy or Astronomy in isolation, with integration between these areas being rare. It is concluded that there are gaps in academic production, highlighting the need for greater articulation between these fields in science education, especially in Basic Education.
