Abdominal sagging is a common condition that can occur after pregnancy, due to the physical changes that occur during pregnancy. During pregnancy, the abdomen stretches to accommodate the growth of the fetus, and after birth, the skin and muscles may not return to their original position, resulting in abdominal sagging. There are several causes for postpartum abdominal sagging, including weight gain during pregnancy, lack of physical activity and genetics. Although abdominal sagging can be frustrating, there are ways to minimize its appearance. This includes effective aesthetic procedures that contribute to improving self-esteem, such as radiofrequency, carboxytherapy and Russian current.
