Quality management in educational institutions has become established, over recent decades, as a strategic field for the continuous improvement of pedagogical, administrative and institutional processes. This article aims to analyze, based on scientific literature, how quality management can be promoted in educational institutions in the face of the expansion of emerging technologies, with emphasis on artificial intelligence, learning analytics systems and digital academic management platforms. A qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach was adopted, operationalized through a narrative bibliographic review of scientific publications and institutional documents, prioritizing the period from 2019 to 2026, without disregarding classic works on quality management indispensable to grounding the theme. The results indicate that the incorporation of emerging technologies into quality management systems expands the possibilities for monitoring indicators, evidence-based decision-making and personalization of formative processes, while also exposing risks related to reducing quality to quantitative metrics, insufficient training of managers and teachers, inequalities in access to digital infrastructure, and ethical challenges associated with data governance. It is concluded that promoting quality in an educational institution in the face of emerging technologies requires participatory leadership, continuous training, integrated strategic planning and technological governance policies capable of reconciling institutional efficiency and pedagogical commitment.
