First aid refers to a set of initial interventions performed rapidly and systematically for individuals at imminent risk of life, aiming to preserve vital functions and prevent clinical deterioration until specialized assistance arrives. However, public knowledge regarding appropriate first aid procedures remains limited, particularly in non-healthcare contexts such as corporate, administrative, accounting, and educational sectors, which can result in adverse outcomes when interventions are needed. This study aimed to provide basic first aid training for employees of a company in Atílio Vivacqua – ES. A qualitative methodology was employed, and the intervention was conducted by sixth-semester medical students in partnership with the company. The educational approach was structured to enhance theoretical knowledge and enable practical application of first aid techniques. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ technical and practical skills, increased confidence in responding to emergency situations, positive reception of the methodology, and recognition of the activity’s educational and social relevance. The initiative contributed to strengthening a culture of prevention and care in the corporate environment, highlighting its replicability and social impact.
