This article aimed to analyze the impact of microsurgical training on modern surgical practice, identifying the most effective training methodologies and associated outcomes. A systematic literature review was conducted, covering the period from 2012 to 2022, using the PubMed, SciELO, and LILACS databases. The search strategy employed controlled descriptors such as "Microsurgery," "Training," "Medical Education," and "Simulation." After rigorous application of inclusion and exclusion criteria, four studies were selected for analysis and discussion. The results and discussion, based exclusively on these four articles, indicated that structured training programs, combining laboratory practice and simulation with supervised phases, are crucial for developing microsurgical skills. The acquired proficiency positively impacts patient safety, reduces complications, and improves surgical outcomes in various specialties. It is concluded that standardization and access to high-quality microsurgical training are essential for training competent surgeons and optimizing modern surgical practice, despite the identified challenges.
