This article sought to describe the clinical characteristics, therapeutic management, and outcomes of a patient with Martorell's hypertensive ulcer treated at the Nursing School Clinic of UnirG University, in Gurupi, Tocantins, between March and June 2024. The study used a case report design, with data collected from the patient's medical records, direct observations, and records of the interventions performed. The patient, a 75-year-old female with chronic hypertension, presented with an ulcerated lesion on her left lower limb, with severe pain, necrotic edges, and no signs of systemic infection. Interventions included strict blood pressure control, specific topical dressings, intensive analgesia, and multidisciplinary follow-up. The main results were significant improvement in pain, reduction in the area of the lesion, and adequate adherence to antihypertensive treatment. The study shows that early diagnosis of Martorell ulcers, combined with an interdisciplinary approach, is essential for effective healing, pain relief, and prevention of complications. It is concluded that detailed clinical recognition and integrated management provide a better quality of life for the patient and contribute to the training of health professionals in the care of complex dermatological conditions.
