This study investigated the role of digital media in contemporary learning, with the aim of analyzing the main digital tools used in the educational environment and their pedagogical implications. The research, which was exclusively bibliographic in nature, reviewed articles, books and academic publications to understand how digital technologies impact the teaching and learning process. The main tools were addressed, such as e-learning platforms, audiovisual resources and online collaboration tools, which offer new opportunities for personalizing teaching and interaction between students and educators. The research also highlighted the challenges faced in integrating these technologies, such as the lack of infrastructure and the need for teacher training. In the end, it was possible to conclude that, although digital media bring clear benefits to learning, their full implementation depends on overcoming structural and pedagogical obstacles. The research indicated that more studies are needed to explore the best practices for using these tools in different educational contexts and to deepen the understanding of the effects of technologies on learning.
