This study explored collaborative learning mediated by digital technologies and social networks, aiming to answer the question: how can these tools support and enhance collaborative learning processes in schools? The primary objective was to analyze the implications of using social networks and digital platforms in the educational context to foster interaction and collective knowledge construction among students. The research adopted a bibliographic methodology, analyzing articles, books, and other academic materials on the topic. The study investigated how digital technologies, and social networks contribute to creating a dynamic and participatory learning environment, enabling students to share knowledge, discuss ideas, and collaboratively solve problems. The findings emphasized the important role of digital technologies in supporting collaborative learning, while also highlighting challenges such as educator resistance and the need for adequate pedagogical planning. The study concluded that, despite the significant benefits of using these tools, further research on specific practices for utilizing social networks in schools is essential to overcome identified challenges and improve the integration of technologies into the educational process.
