This research investigates the intersection between education and sustainability, focusing on strategies to foster environmental awareness in educational contexts. The study analyzes innovative pedagogical practices that integrate sustainability principles into the curriculum, exploring their impact on the formation of environmentally responsible citizens. Through a qualitative approach, based on literature review and case analysis, it examines how educational institutions are incorporating environmental themes into their methodologies. Results indicate that interdisciplinary and experiential approaches are particularly effective in promoting ecological awareness. Problem-based learning projects, green campus initiatives, and partnerships with local communities stand out as promising strategies. It concludes that the effective integration of environmental education requires a holistic transformation of educational practices, involving not only the curriculum but also institutional culture and community engagement. This study contributes to the field by proposing a framework for implementing more effective and relevant environmental education programs in the current context of global ecological challenges.
