This article aims to reflect on diversity and inclusion as fundamental elements for the educational process. This theme is essential for contemporary reality, especially since, nowadays, it demands greater attention on the need to attend to the core of diversity and inclusion for a good educational process. Methodologically, for the execution of this work, we focused on debates held in the discipline's classes, as well as permeated by conceptions of authors such as Brian, Oliver (2012), Ambrosetti (1999), as well as the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education - LDB ( 1996). It is evident throughout these writings that inclusion, in turn, goes beyond mere acceptance, encompassing practices that guarantee guaranteed access, participation and opportunities for all students, regardless of their characteristics and that it is necessary to embrace diversity and promote diversity. inclusion, the educational process becomes more comprehensive and effective, preparing students and the continuous search for strategies that cultivate diversity and promote inclusion in schools and universities.
