The use of new technologies in the classroom plays a key role in contemporary education. In a digital world, where technology is present in all aspects of human life, it is essential that education accompany this transformation. However, it is important to emphasize that the use of new technologies must be done in a balanced and conscious way. It is necessary to ensure equal access to these technologies, provide proper training to teachers and guide students on the responsible and safe use of digital tools. In this context, the present work aims to analyze the importance of using new technologies in the classroom and how it is related to preparing students for an increasingly digital world, personalizing teaching, promoting collaboration and developing essential skills for the 21st century. The methodology used was qualitative research, in relation to the objectives, this is classified as exploratory, with regard to the procedures, the bibliographical research was used. The research points out that the effective integration of these technologies in education can transform the teaching-learning process, providing a richer, more engaging and relevant educational experience for students.
