This study aims to understand the relationship between work, education and youth in the capitalist system, with a more general discussion about the origin of work in human relations. The purpose of the analysis is focused on the study of work and its relationship with the education of adolescents. The theme also seeks to bring a view on the forms of work with legal provision, noting that the Federal Constitution of 1988 brought the protection of children and adolescents, with absolute priority in social relations. In order to reach the objective proposed for this study, a bibliographical and documentary research was carried out (laws and decrees), anchored in the following authors: Brasão e Moraes (2022), Ciavatta (2005), Cassab (2007), Manfredi (2002 ), Marx (2017), Saviani (2007) among others. Therefore, from a qualitative approach, in the social rights provided for in the Federal Constitution of 1988, it is possible to understand that work for adolescents must be governed by age and prohibitive conditions, since night, unhealthy and dangerous work is prohibited. for teenagers under 18 (eighteen) years of age. As for the relationship between work and the education of adolescents, as an apprentice, there is discipline in the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, as well as in the Consolidation of Labor Laws, whose requirements are that the apprentice is regularly enrolled in a course and with a deadline duration of up to 2 (two) years, as a rule. However, quality education for young people and their learning is a challenge in the 21st century in Brazil.
