Abstract

Hypertension is a multifactorial clinical condition characterized by high and sustained levels of blood pressure. Hypertensive patients usually adhere to drug treatment incorrectly, which may lead to a decrease in drug efficacy, either due to an inadequate dose or storage in inappropriate places, leading to loss of drug activity, or even an interaction with drugs or food. In this context, Pharmaceutical Care (PH) becomes essential to reduce possible drug-related problems.
