The present work was dedicated to studying the aspects traditionally defined in the doctrine as components of International Legal Cooperation. Then, this study expanded to a possible evolution of the cooperation institute in the figure of the International Center for Legal Cooperation (ICCL). The research sought to understand the entity and investigated its performance from the year 1994 onwards, seeking to follow its activity in the most diverse areas of law in the selected countries. Finally, the article sought to understand how such an entity would be useful to our system and how an adaptation would be possible considering the historical-cultural context of our country.
