THE ILLUSORY "DREAM OF YOUR OWN HOME" COMPARED TO THE FREE HOUSING POLICY IN THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA: IMPLICATIONS FOR THE BRAZILIAN CONTEXT

Abstract

The main objective of this article is to promote a direct comparison between Western capitalist models and the North Korean socialist modality in the context of the real estate industry in front of the free distribution of housing, aiming to establish counterpoints between both. For that, explanations are composed about some of the main Korean historical characteristics, aiming to make it possible to understand the origins of its political-social ideology, and constitutional elements of the nation are analyzed, contrasting them with capital. Finally, the conceptualizations achieved are assimilated to Brazilian circumstances, since the foundations of this document are based on precisely proposing a series of perspectives for the possible incorporation of these components in our Latin American society.
