Interest in miniature production animals has grown in recent decades, initially just to display and decorate sites, farms and exhibitions. However, in some countries such as the United States, these animals have also been raised for production, mainly milk. Here in Brazil, as there are still few specialized creations, many times the owners end up making crosses between animals of different breeds and sizes. This ends up contributing to the manifestation of dystocia, causing the need to perform a cesarean section. In addition to non-directed crossings between animals of the same breed and size, there are also traumas and accidents, which make it impossible for the parturient to have a full-term delivery. In view of the above, this study aims to describe and document the performance of a cesarean section in a crossbred mini cow, which was attended to in the field and presented a pelvic fracture after being run over.
