In a globalized world, where competition is fierce, organizations seek to serve their customers more quickly to ensure their satisfaction and aim to reduce logistical costs as a strategy against their competitors, increasing their competitiveness to face an economic crisis with rational use of resources. resources. available resources. The manager must be aware of the cultural changes of his direct competitors so that they can identify processes that follow the organizational strategies and, thus, manage to remain competitive. This research aims to study the supply chain and outsourcing to expand knowledge about the use of logistics processes as a competitive advantage for organizations, measuring a broader view between logistics service providers and managers, demonstrating that there must be a commitment and an effective strategic business partnership to ensure organizational success. This research made it possible to identify the advantages and disadvantages in logistics operations, measuring the main performance indicators as a fundamental tool for the perception of the quality of logistics services and the satisfaction of the end customer, and ensures that the manager makes an assertive decision to improve the organizational process. The work is based on a bibliographic methodology research with the main authors on the respective theme. From this research-study, it was identified that the manager must understand that the logistics process and outsourcing are the main competitive factors in the current market situation and that the use of performance indicators guarantee business stability and customer satisfaction.
