Financial education is a subject unknown by the Brazilian population, as it is considered delicate and not all citizens are interested in financial education compared to school education. The research aims to evaluate the citizens of the Northwest region of São Paulo who have knowledge on the subject, and to characterize the consumer profile. The methodology applied to the research will be a qualitative method, with descriptive research, with exploratory studies for the development of the research. Convenience sampling will be used in Northwest Paulista in the micro region of Votuporanga, being the main business center of this micro region. Among the results, 81 responses were obtained from participants between genders and the most varied age groups and to identify the concern with financial education through their consumer behavior.
