Abstract

The Faculty of Health Sciences (FCS) at Lúrio University follows Vancouver's rules regarding citations and bibliographical references for the writing of scientific papers for undergraduate courses.
Due to the high number of scientific works produced by the academic mass, the need arose to prepare this Guidance Guide for Citations and Bibliographic References in accordance with the Vancouver Standard, in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMGE) with the aim of to facilitate the normalization of the production of scientific works for Students, Professors and other Health Professionals, with reference to the GUIDE FOR THE PREPARATION OF BASIC RESEARCH WORK (2019), illustrated in chapter 13. Citation Norms – Vancouver. In addition, this Guide can help with citations and bibliographic references during the preparation of monographs, dissertations, reports, articles, among other academic and/or scientific works.

Dra. Gisely Cardoso de Melo e Prof. Dr. Héctor Henrique Koolen, Universidade do Estado de Amazonas.

Professora da Universidade Lúrio. Graduada em Ciências de Educação, Mestrado em Direção e Gestão Educacional pela Universidade Católica de Moçambique e Doutorada em Ciências de Educação com especialidade em Pedagogia Social pela Universidade Católica do Porto.
