Muscle hypertrophy focuses on the development of the cross-sectional area of the muscle in response to repeated strength training sessions. Multiple studies suggest that this conformation is interceded by mechanical incitements associated with hormonal and metabolic incentives resulting from the constant action of a deliberate training load. It has a large number of types of training aimed at muscle hypertrophy. That's why it's extraordinary to know the authority of training consistency, thus helping physical education professionals in determining programs. The objective of this literature review was to identify the extent of training constancy on muscle hypertrophy. It was qualified as an integrative literature review, with an exploratory qualitative approach. Pondering the studies, it was acceptable to conclude that in trained people a maximum training constancy is positive as long as it is maintained in an incentive of 2 to 3 times a week for the same muscle group. On the other hand, in untrained people, there is no clear perspective, having a variety of population and each one presents an individual response to the training frequency.
