Abstract

The study presented here results from readings of the classics of Sociology Durkheim (2002; 1975; 1968; 1955) and Weber (2003; 1999; 1998; 1979) with the objective of pointing out certain convergences and divergences in the method of each one from the contextualization socio-historical context in which they lived without, however, exhausting the theme. It is inferred that the voice of both reverberates in the reflections regarding current situations.

Doutoranda em Sociologia Política da Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (Uenf). Mestre em Ciências das Religiões (Unidas de Vitória/ES). Especialista em Processo Civil (PUC/MG). Graduada em Direito (Universidade Iguaçu, campus V) e em Serviço Social (UFF). Atua como advogada e também como professora do Centro Universitário UniRedentor/Afya (Itaperuna/RJ).

Silvia Goulart Ferreira, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro-UFRJ

Mestra em Língua Portuguesa (UFRJ). Pós-graduada em Docência do Ensino Superior (UniFS) e em Gestão Escolar. Graduada em Letras (UniFS) e em Pedagogia (UNIFAEL). Professora do Ensino Fundamental e Médio da rede Municipal e Estadual. Atualmente atua como Diretora Adjunta da rede Municipal.
