ACCOUNTING: NA INNOVATIVE TOOL FOR THE PANDEMIC CRISIS

Abstract

Accounting is an applied social science, which has the purpose of helping companies in the financial, tax and commercial areas. Accounting represents an important function in the management and administration process of organizations. This study found the importance of this tool to reduce the negative impact caused by the economic crisis suffered by Covid-19. The research was developed with the objective of pointing out the positive points and the advantages that accounting obtained to assist in the administration of small, medium and large companies. Accounting has been innovated as a tool from its inception to the present day, gaining greater prominence during the economic crisis suffered by the Covid-19 pandemic that took overwhelming proportions in the world, causing closures and the decline of the economy, being important the help of the accounting for the reinvention of companies. The methodology carried out was qualitative descriptive through interviews with highly qualified professionals who have vision and knowledge of accounting before and after Covid 19. The objectives were duly achieved through studies prepared by books, article aids.
