Abstract

The objective of this study is justified by the concern that arose about the relationship between these two institutions, since the child is their common point. Clearly understand the role of the school and the family, and try to ensure that the child has a healthy development environment, and for that, the family and the school must constantly seek a harmonious relationship, not without conflicts, but consistently resolved, never forgetting. child education and development. The objective of this work is to critically analyze the relationship between school and family in the context of early childhood education; discuss family organization and the construction of the concept of childhood throughout history; to highlight the role of the family and the kindergarten in the teaching and learning of the child and to feel the representation of the family about its role in the education of children and the educational mission of childcare in today's society. As a methodology, this study was developed qualitatively and through bibliographic research. The purpose of this book is to communicate the importance of the relationship between the family and early childhood education, as these institutions are important to the child's life. Therefore, professionals working in this area need to know what are the aspects involved in such a close relationship.
