The objective was to understand the role of leadership management in the motivation within the work environment for the formation of teams in the business environment. It addresses management, leadership, employee motivation and the modern company. A literature review was carried out with a qualitative approach. Highlighting the importance of leadership and motivation in organizations as a tool for the formation of work teams is fundamental to the success of organizations. Being a leading manager is a highly desired position for an administrator, as it is a team leader who promotes harmony and motivation, encouraging employees to engage in the development of the institution, even contributing to the improvement of the quality of life. In the work environment. The search for knowledge and personal development made some organizations discover true talent within them, this added to the speed of global changes, created within these organizations the need to manage these talents, manage new knowledge and allocate them correctly. It is considered that the influence of motivational leadership, when well worked, can be beneficial, both on a personal level and for the organization as a whole.
