This article aims to analyze the contributions that recyclable waste offers to the development to be used in the area of teaching and learning. Playful and practical experiences, if well used, can become significant strategies that facilitate pedagogical work and contribute to the construction of knowledge. Faced with the new concept of education, the educator is an interlocutor, a mediator of the child's relationship with knowledge, a set of limits, an affective supporter on numerous occasions, an organizer of the physical space and of many activities that arouse the student's interest and that the lead to face challenges that will contribute to the process of building your knowledge. To achieve this end, it is necessary for educators to rethink the content and their pedagogical practice, replacing rigidity, passivity with joy, enthusiasm for learning, the way of seeing, thinking, understanding and reconstructing knowledge.
