In this article, we describe personal hygiene practices in early childhood education. The main objective of this sequence is to use different teaching resources to promote the understanding of things such as hygiene and well-being, so that students have greater interaction with the practice of the topics covered, because, through the use of adequate resources, students are able to to absorb the relationship between the hygiene process and the environment in which they live, and from there change their daily habits, creating a direct relationship between the knowledge developed in the classroom and social practice, thus being able to become a multiplier of information and play a dominant role in their home environment. Through the theme, it is possible to observe that children begin to control their habits, wash their hands when leaving the bathroom, drink from bottles and cups and, therefore, begin to perceive the diseases caused by lack of hygiene.
