Abstract

 The education in the pandemic began to guide the discussions of experts in the area, as remote teaching became the way to keep students in school practice and learning. Basic education English language teachers had to adapt their strategies for remote teaching to promote student learning. The general objective of this study is to discuss the practice of teaching English in the form of remote teaching. This study qualifies as a bibliographic research. The development of this study is based on the importance of rethinking practices and pedagogies and all components of the teaching-learning process in this pandemic scenario of a new coronavirus. The teaching of English in the remote teaching modality has undergone changes in its pedagogical practices, as a result of the social distance decreed in the pandemic situation of the new coronavirus in the country.
