Abstract

This paper seeks to discuss the role of a leader, as well as to link the leadership role with research on personality and how it can be of great help in leadership. It is divided into two topics, being about "leading, knowing and conquering" and "know yourself and you will conquer others". In addition, it has reflections from some books that can be useful to leaders, as well as tables explaining how the personality "typing" works according to Carl Jung's studies. It also cites other studies on personality that are interconnected with Carl Jung's theory, in order to show that all theories are interconnected and are important to understand yourself and everyone around you, trying to show the person who occupies the leadership position ways of self-knowledge and how to know the employees who work for him, also aiming to explain the importance of a good leader in the labor scenario.
