Although the participation of women in the Brazilian and international labor market has increased, there is a significant gap in the wages of men and women performing the same jobs. Labor market practices concerning employability unjustifiably disqualify women. In its updated market analysis, the World Economic Forum identified that efforts to diminish the wage disparity between men and women in the labor market had suffered an enormous setback. The general feminine condition is of vulnerability and precariousness, and the inequality in remuneration between the genders is still an unfair reality, even with protective legislation of rights as evidenced by the data on income and employability of Brazilian women. The United Nations has set the equality of genders as a goal for the 2030 Agenda and has counted it as a factor for world development. The applicability of gender equality within legal careers.
