Abstract: Introduction: University extension plays an essential role in integrating teaching, research, and community engagement, promoting shared knowledge construction and health promotion. Objective: To report the experience of developing and implementing educational technologies through university extension activities focused on health education. Methods: This methodological study with a qualitative approach was conducted as an experience report based on the Praxical Model for Technology Development (PMDT). Educational technologies, including leaflets, booklets, pamphlets, and digital materials accessed through QR codes, were developed addressing topics related to health promotion and disease prevention, such as the Oncology Care Network, warning signs of shock, physical inactivity, obesity prevention, type 1 diabetes mellitus, malnutrition, and anemia. These technologies were implemented in primary health care units, schools, public spaces, and scientific outreach events. Results: The activities demonstrated high community acceptance, active participation, increased knowledge regarding the proposed themes, clarification of doubts, and encouragement of self-care practices. For undergraduate students, the experience strengthened communication skills, health education competencies, teamwork, and understanding of the Brazilian Unified Health System. Conclusion: Educational technologies proved to be effective tools for health promotion, expanding access to health information and strengthening the relationship between universities and communities, while contributing to both academic training and community health education.
