This article sought to analyze national scientific evidence on the psychosocial impacts and mental health disorders in Brazilian women exposed to obstetric violence practices in the hospital context. The methodology consisted of an integrative review conducted in the SciELO, LILACS, Scopus, Web of Science, and CINAHL databases, with a final sample of 06 articles published between 2021 and 2025. Results demonstrate a direct correlation between mistreatment during childbirth and the development of Postpartum Depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The analysis highlights that these conditions are reinforced by a technocratic model that prioritizes institutional control over women's autonomy. The violation of rights acts as a trigger for mental illness, emphasizing the role of Obstetric Nursing in implementing humanized practices and evidence-based care. It is concluded that overcoming this scenario requires an urgent change in the care paradigm, and humanization is essential to preserve the physical integrity and emotional health of both the woman and the newborn.
