Abstract

This article analyzes the correlation between the biopsychosocial health of public security professionals and the enforcement of Human Rights, focusing on the context of the Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM). The investigation is based on the premise that the agent's cognitive and physical integrity is a sine qua non condition for the strict and proportional use of force in environments of high operational stress and adverse climatic conditions. Through a qualitative bibliographic review, the study articulates concepts of neuroplasticity, such as the production of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) induced by running, and the optimization of visual perception in open-skill sports modalities.

The discussion is anchored in Interministerial Ordinance No. 2 of 2010, which establishes guidelines for valuing public security professionals as a Human Rights policy. The results indicate that aerobic physical conditioning and dynamic visual acuity reduce false positives in decision-making, mitigating risks of disproportionate institutional violence. It concludes that there is a need to institutionalize sports as part of the service hours in PMAM, guaranteeing the server's "right to have rights" for the protection of human dignity in the Amazonian society.
