Abstract

In recent decades, profound social changes have occurred in various sectors of society, which has led research on educational practices to reflect on the need for a transformation in the education paradigm, aiming to achieve the main objectives of the school. The school plays a fundamental role in the individual training of each student, not only transmitting knowledge for intellectual and professional development, but also contributing to their growth as a human being and citizen in a complex society. Therefore, currently, we seek to make the most of available technological resources, exploring the countless ways to apply them in education. Multimedia resources offer a wide range of possibilities to enrich educational content, providing access to multimedia resources, such as educational videos, images, graphics, audios and animations, which make learning more attractive. It is important to assess the impact of multimedia resources to ensure they are being used effectively. You can do this by collecting student feedback, observing student behavior, and conducting assessment tests. In this scenario, the present study aims to understand the importance and application of multimedia resources in the teaching and learning process. It is concluded that the use of multimedia resources in education plays a fundamental role in improving the quality of teaching, making learning more effective and involving students in a more meaningful way.
