This case study aims to present, in detail, the relevance of the postoperative process of a third digit fracture of the hand, with emphasis on the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation period. The study addresses the main care measures that should be adopted by the patient, as well as therapeutic approaches that may contribute to optimizing the functional recovery process. The proposal seeks to highlight the importance of physiotherapeutic follow-up, which is essential to restore joint mobility, fine motor coordination, and reduce joint stiffness, in addition to the guidance provided to the patient regarding the performance of home exercises. The methodology was based on clinical observation and the recording of the patient’s functional progress throughout the treatment sessions. The results demonstrate that the physiotherapeutic intervention has contributed to the recovery of hand function. It is concluded that the therapeutic approach, combined with proper guidance, is essential for the success of rehabilitation.
