This article focused on analyzing the surgical management of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). The methodology implemented followed the PRISMA protocol, with searches conducted in the PubMed, Cochrane Library, and SciELO databases, covering the period of five years (2020-2025). Clinical studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses assessing the efficacy of surgical techniques in treating PID were included. The main findings suggest that the surgical treatment of PID requires an integrated approach, wherein the surgical technique chosen has a direct impact on clinical outcomes and patient quality of life. It is concluded that interventions such as laparoscopy, abscess drainage, and in more severe cases, hysterectomy, are employed to promote recovery, alleviate symptoms, and prevent complications. Timely surgical decision-making and access to appropriate resources are crucial for treatment success and patient well-being.
