Abstract

This study investigated how companies could adapt their management practices and organizational structure to the digital age, using the tools and strategies of Management 4.0. The overall objective was to analyze the implementation of Management 4.0 in organizations, considering emerging technologies and the challenges involved in this process. The research was bibliographic in nature, based on works, articles and scientific publications that addressed digital transformation in management practices. The analysis of the references allowed us to identify the main benefits of Management 4.0, such as improved process efficiency, cost reduction and greater organizational agility, in addition to the challenges, such as cultural, financial and operational barriers faced by companies. The results indicated that the adoption of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and big data, contributes to optimizing organizational processes and increasing competitiveness. However, resistance to change, both from leaders and employees, was identified as one of the main obstacles to the successful implementation of Management 4.0. The final considerations suggested that digital transformation should not be limited to the adoption of new technologies, but also to cultural change in organizations. The research contributed to a better understanding of Administration 4.0 and indicated the need for future studies to investigate the practices and challenges of companies in implementing this digital administration.
