This study led up to examine the practice of reading developed by elementary school teachers in the early years as developing practice of reading in primary education especially in the 1st and 2nd years has been discussed in the educational space. Thus, the study on the theme readings Practices in years 1 and 2 years of elementary school, the Middle School Henrique MonteiroLeite, the Mutuca district Fishing - PE aimed to analyze the practice of reading developed by elementary school teachers in early years in this school and the results achieved, considering the effective participation of the faculty, also the involvement of the family. Resorting to the field of research, empirical, being descriptive and interpretative, seeking possible objective and subjective meanings of the central research question. Population selected for research: Coordination and teachers of the 1st, 2nd r 3rd year of elementary school. Methodological procedures used: semi-structured interview, data collection: Primary. For reasons of study, we used a bibliographic reference on the object of study, in books, articles, current legislation on education, dissertations.
