Anxiety disorders are prevalent among adolescents and can have significant consequences for the psychological and social development of this population. This study conducts an integrative review of the most effective psychological interventions for treating anxiety disorders in adolescents, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic approaches. The research included articles published in the last ten years that evaluated the effectiveness of interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). The results indicate that CBT is the most studied and effective approach, while ACT and mindfulness techniques have shown promise, especially when integrated with traditional treatments. In addition, parental involvement in interventions was highlighted as a crucial factor for treatment success. The review emphasizes the importance of personalizing therapeutic approaches and suggests the need for future studies that explore combined interventions and the effectiveness of different approaches in specific subgroups of adolescents.
