The article discusses competency-based management as an essential strategy for organizational success, highlighting the importance of technical, behavioral, and organizational competencies in the recruitment and selection process. The research focuses on footwear factories in the Cariri region, analyzing how they implement this management to optimize talent acquisition and development. The methodology used is qualitative, with structured interviews, showing that competency-based management helps align the goals of employees with those of the organization, promoting a more efficient and collaborative work environment.
