Abstract

This study, entitled "Ischemia and Necrosis in Nasal Aesthetic Procedures," investigates the incidence and characteristics of common complications in nasal aesthetic procedures, such as Rhinoplasty and Rhinomodeling with Hyaluronic Acid. The aim is to identify preventive measures and develop treatment protocols that ensure safe and satisfactory outcomes. Ischemia, with or without progression to necrosis, represents a serious complication that can compromise both the aesthetics and the health of the patient. Therefore, understanding it is essential to prevent and treat these conditions immediately. A literature review and case study analysis were conducted to answer the question: "How to minimize complications in Rhinoplasty and Hyaluronic Acid Rhinomodeling?" The expected results should contribute to the safe practice of Aesthetic Biomedicine and Plastic Surgery, assisting in the early identification of signs of ischemia or necrosis and in the development of new preventive strategies. The main conclusions of the research favor Aesthetics professionals, both doctors and healthcare professionals, regarding the search for new technologies and alternatives for the treatment of ischemia and necrosis. Above all, it expands the possibilities for prevention, bringing together the best that has already been described in the current literature. Additionally, it also benefits the patient, as these gathered studies can serve as a warning to the reader, both before and after undergoing nasal aesthetic procedures.
