Adequate management of water resources is difficult to implement given the numerous factors that contribute to the degradation of the natural environment, especially in the Brazilian Amazon. Being a current problem, the study of ways to better manage the Amazon environment is revealing in that environmental protection also gains scope through more efficient management in favor of a geopolitics of water resources prioritized by the democratic bias of broad accessibility . Thus, as an objective, it is proposed to highlight several institutes that already exist in the system and that are capable of promoting greater integration in the protective activities of the Brazilian Amazon, aiming to provide access to water resources, a source of life and social maintenance. To achieve this, it is essential to draw the normative parallels that political entities have for the adequate and cooperative management of the Amazonian space, using the study of a comparative method between the different norms, from constitutional support to the laws that complement it. , going through the jurisprudential understandings of the Federal Supreme Court and the Superior Court of Justice on practical situations of application of such a legal system. As a result, there are institutes provided for in norms complementary to the constitutional text that enable cooperative action between political entities, a stance to be demanded by society in favor of the Amazonian environment, especially the protection of water resources.
