Introduction: The delorme technique was first described in 1899, by the french military surgeon Edmond Delome, it is a procedure characterized by the mucosa removal in cases of complete rectal prolapse. Case presentation: A 83-years-old female patient born and residing in Macapá-AP, sought the city’s emergency service complaining of rectal and uterine prolapse that had persisted for approximately 4 months, with worsening in the last few days. Discussion: In this case report, after multi-speciality evaluation the patient was referred to a cirurgic treatment. She underwent a Delome’s surgery with a Thiersch’s surgery due the senil and least tolerant intervention profile. Conclusion: Rectal and uterine prolapse cirurgic interventions are diverse, abdominals or perineals. Consequently, decision marking process should be cautious and consider patient conditions, in this case report delorme technique was the most appropriated.
