As the work arises and progresses, consequences emerge in the relationship between work and the worker, primarily recognized by the World Health Organization as the burnout syndrome, which causes health impairments due to the characteristics of the activities that the worker performs in their work environment. This paper seeks to question Burnout Syndrome and the relationship between work and the worker from the perspective of Brazilian legal framework and the health impairments of the worker through qualitative methods involving bibliographic research and internet searches. In addition to defining and contextualizing the illness, it aims to demonstrate appropriate measures for preventing burnout syndrome, highlight Brazilian legal measures regarding burnout syndrome, relate the psychopolitics of productivity to Burnout and its consequences, and finally draw a parallel between mental health, particularly Burnout, concerning the work environment. Since everyone is entitled to a healthy work environment.
