This psychological screening internship report aims to communicate the value of carrying out psychological screenings before starting therapeutic care. These screenings were carried out solely online, according to the needs of all patients involved, this screening stage was guided by the guiding professor Psychologist Eleandro se Souza Cabral CRP: 08/40416, in the classrooms of UNIVERSIDADE UNIENSINO, in Curitiba, Pr. The purpose of the screenings was to better understand the demands of each of the patients, as well as being able to bring support and This way, you can be more assertive when directing them to specialized care, thus meeting each patient's priorities more objectively. The experience of having the first contacts with patients, for those who are on the path of knowledge of the human mind, was of utmost importance, to experience what it will be like in the future, to be faced with someone with real demands for themselves, and that when looking for a Psychologists hope to receive help for their pain and suffering. This contact made me reflect on how each individual has their own particularities, and how we need to be empathetic, welcoming, strip away our prejudices, think about others when listening and provide the necessary security so that they can feel comfortable, creating trustworthiness. in the patient/psychologist relationship. During the screening, some cases were very notable, which will be reported during development, bringing clarification to specific demands.
