Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a malignant pathology that is the accelerated and uncontrolled production of lymphoid cells. Chemotherapy treatment leads to the development of oral complications that end up harming the patient's quality of life. This study seeks to investigate oral manifestations and dental development in patients with ALL. Although signs and symptoms mainly affect the bone marrow or lymphoid tissues, oral manifestations may appear as the first clinical sign of onco-hematological disease or even as a consequence of antineoplastic treatment. Given this, the following question arises: what are the signs and symptoms that ALL manifests in the oral cavity, investigating its interference in the development of primary or permanent dentition? The main objective is to analyze oral manifestations and the development of dentition in patients with ALL. With specific objectives: Understanding the effects of LLA on the patient's oral cavity, and how it interferes with the development of teeth; present dental management that should be carried out in patients with ALL; Identify treatments against Leukemia, which manifests changes in the oral cavity. The methodology is a bibliographic review carried out through the collection of scientific articles and relevant books with a qualitative approach. Finally, the results of this study make clear the role of the dental surgeon in identifying oral manifestations, which is extremely important for early diagnosis and a more effective therapeutic course, reducing morbidity and mortality in affected patients.
