The book "Fragilized Bonds: The Impact of Parental Incarceration on Family and Social Relations" addresses in a profound and sensitive way the complex dynamics that involve the incarceration of fathers and mothers and their effects on family and social relationships. Divided into three chapters, each with its own specific approach, the book offers a comprehensive and detailed analysis of this delicate, socially biased and often neglected topic.

In the first chapter, we explore the intersection between public safety, incarceration policies, and the role of social services.
