Abstract

School planning makes it possible to have direction in relation to the context and teaching actions, because when planning, what to achieve and how the action will be carried out to achieve what is expected is constructed in an organized way. This act allows us to have a broad view of our operations as well as the study of new approaches to better meet our needs. This article aims to analyze the importance of planning in the school context through significant actions that result from the practice of school planning and also clarify how the planning process takes place given the complexity of problems encountered today and the lack of clarification about its purpose in the face of education that goes through changes, renewals and progress. The article was prepared through bibliographical research and complementary readings, improving knowledge about the importance of planning in the school context. Through individual experiences of teaching, it was possible to make a relationship between theory and school practice in order to explain that theoretically there is a lot to study, always seeking to improve this very important act in teaching. It is then understood that planning must be extremely important for carrying out school activities, and therefore for achieving success.
