INTERNAL CONSULTANCY IN PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: REPORT OF EXPERIENCE IN A STATE JUDICIARY INSTITUTION

The objective of this report is to share an experience about the practice of Internal Consulting in People Management, developed in a State Judiciary Institution. It addresses processes capable of assisting in the diagnosis of needs and supporting managers in carrying out actions related to the work of functional monitoring of Public Servants and Team management, as well as proposing specific initiatives for the personal and professional development of Employees, paying particular attention to pertinent issues communication and leadership, teamwork, conflict management, creativity and innovation, among other important aspects that affect the work environment and, consequently, the functional performance and results of the organization. This is a descriptive study, carried out using institutional data, as well as analysis, observation and reflection on the experience of professionals who are part of the team of the Organizational Unit responsible for Internal Consulting work. During the last five years, more than a thousand cases were assessed in the aforementioned Program, which highlight the challenges and possibilities relating to decision-making, process facilitation and team development. It is worth highlighting the efforts relevant to promoting changes that influence policy, organization, procedures and methods in the context of People Management. The results show that the practice of Internal Consulting provides a sense of greater proximity and helps to solve complex problems in the work environment, in a creative and collaborative way, strengthening and optimizing people management and well-being in the Public Service sphere and , consequently, an effectiveness of judicial provision.
